Al Stone is the author of the YA fantasy trilogy T.O.E. After graduating with a BA in Film & Television, Al had worked in the television industry for a short period before a disabling injury caused her to turn her hand to storytelling. She loves anything and everything paranormal. Her fascination with all things supernatural sparked her obsession with books, particularly young adult fantasy fiction, which she has never grown out of.

When she isn’t writing, she enjoys going to the movies, listening to music and travelling. At present, she lives in England, United Kingdom with her family.

Now, let’s get down to the nitty gritty!

FV: Do you hide any secrets in your books that only a few people will find?

AS: Yes, indeed. There is much to unravel in my trilogy, and one needs to be very attentive if they are to see the truth.

FV: Name 5 favorite movies. Why?

AS: Dirty Dancing, Stand by Me, Forrest Gump, The Dark Knight and The Green Mile. I love these films because they either stimulate my mind or they put me in a happy place.

FV: What’s your favorite love story? (movie or book)

AS: Bonnie and Clyde

FV:What’s your favorite line from any movie?

AS: My momma always said, “Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” – Forrest Gump

FV: If you were attending a Halloween party, what would your costume be and why?

AS: The Grim Reaper because there is so much mystery behind the entity.

FV: What’s your favorite song to sing in Karaoke? Why?

AS: I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston because it puts me in a feel-good mood, and it’s the kind of song that would have everyone on their feet.

FV: What is the first book that made you cry?

AS: No book has ever made me cry. But, like they say, “Never say never.”

FV: If you were a spy what would your alias be?

AS: Wildflower

FV: What was the first live concert you ever attended?

AS: I’ve never been to a concert.

FV: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

AS: Susan Sarandon

FV: What’s your favorite TV show of all time and why?

AS: The Walking Dead because of its depiction of the moral challenges facing humanity, which pits man against his worst enemy: himself. Honestly, I would have just watched it for the zombies. I love a good zombie showdown.

FV: As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

AS: Owl.

FV: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

AS: To time travel.

FV: What question do you wish people would ask you?

AS: Anything. I’m a critical thinker, constantly analyzing and synthesizing information, so anything that would kick my brain into gear would satisfy me.

FV: And last question: What are you currently writing, and can you tell us anything about it?

AS: I’m currently writing a children’s picture book, which I’m very excited about. I can’t say much about it just yet as I started it not long ago, but it will be out in 2018.
